New Books by Carol Purington
Three New Books by Carol Purington is a beautiful new post by her family at Woodslawn Farm. She asked her family to complete this work for her. I ordered the books and look forward to reading them.
Please visit Woodslawn Farm for more information.
Spring poetry journals – 2
From my longer poem in the previous post, I wrote a haiku.
Spring poetry

new season of art
Holy Week
Holy week
lily flowers
wait to bloom
sometimes by sight
in my life of faith
apple trees in bloom
Time of Singing (Spring 2014)

Haiku by Carol Purington
Carol enjoyed the blogs and sharing her work with many readers. This is a post we created at Haiku Art Site for October 28, 2015.
Before the service –
an oriole carries my thoughts to God
and back
The first hymn –
we sing our way
into harmony
Prayer before soup
we unclasp our hands
to break bread
Driving away
whether or not to go home
by the usual road
