The Psalms

The Psalms Series 2020: A Summary is a new post at Poems From Psalms And Nature.

Here is part of what I wrote:

“The Psalms series this year is one of the projects I think of first, as I reflect upon 2020. The idea was simple: post short selections from the 150 Psalms, with pictures. I worked with the King James Version of the Bible. My study of short poetry forms inspired my presentation for some of the verses.

My thought was that readers can do their own research from here, if they wish. I did not assume that someone already knew the Psalms.

The series was from March 2020 – July 2020. This fall, I worked to summarize the content in different ways.”

Then the post includes the various ways I tried to summarize the series.

God be merciful unto us, and bless us;
and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.

That thy way may be known upon earth,
thy saving health among all nations.

Psalm 67: 1 – 2

Poems From Psalms And Nature: 2020 Series Review

At Poems From Psalms And Nature, I am working to review our series from March 2020 – July 2020. These posts are short selections from the 150 Psalms, with art by many people. I also post some of my poems and reflections.

If you are interested, these are my two recent posts, and you can read/view more from there. My goal is to offer a few moments of beauty and hope.
