Autumn Grace

leaves of bleeding hearts
now gold
so do broken hearts mend
so does grief heal
Autumn grace

My poem was published by Bell’s Letters Poet, SMILE, and WestWard Quarterly.

May 2022 Poems

spring colors
poetry journals and books
on a brown tablecloth

their own beauty
birch trees and
blue sky

kitchen window
forsythia in bloom
and a daffodil in light

new leaves
on the birch tree
May study window

May afternoon
and I read in my study
light on the file cabinet
with cards and letters
before and since email
old poems as well
treasures to rediscover
and remember
perhaps this summer
