clouds and sky
spruce tree branches still
reading poems
that offer hope
and rest

POEMS FROM OOSTBURG, WISCONSIN
Monday grey sky
and raindrops
on the windows
how green the trees
and gardens
Bible on my shelf
a ribbon holds my place
in the Psalms
spring colors
poetry journals and books
on a brown tablecloth
their own beauty
birch trees and
blue sky
kitchen window
forsythia in bloom
and a daffodil in light
new leaves
on the birch tree
May study window
May afternoon
and I read in my study
light on the file cabinet
with cards and letters
before and since email
old poems as well
treasures to rediscover
and remember
perhaps this summer

This year, Easter And Spring Poetryreached 500 Followers. The posts are new, and I also reprint content in new ways. An old haiku with vintage art, or a new photo – and the post is new.
Evening,
and morning,
and at noon,
will I pray,
and cry aloud:
and he shall hear my voice.
Psalm 55: 17
