Evening,
and morning,
and at noon,
will I pray,
and cry aloud:
and he shall hear my voice.
Psalm 55: 17
this year I see
the beauty
of February
more clearly
peaceful
sky and trees
the gardens
rest and
I read
and the gardens
will grow
POEMS FROM OOSTBURG, WISCONSIN – 2022
how many mornings
have I read and looked
at birch trees in sun
and blue sky?
and yet today

Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted.
Matthew 5: 4 (KJV)
for as long
as I can remember
verses from the Psalms
morning light
forms part of a cross
on the wood wall
my faith completes
