and reading poetry

about everyday life
Evening,
and morning,
and at noon,
will I pray,
and cry aloud:

outside my window
rain-washed air
late-day sun
on the gravestones
we shall meet again
I came across this poem in my archives. My parents had January birthdays, in 1915 and 1917.
the green that goes
the green that stays
evergreens
trees with leaves
and Fall colors
and then their
shapes and sky
trees with holiday
lights in Winter
and trees
with blossoms
and new leaves
in Spring
