Bible on my shelf
a ribbon holds my place
in the Psalms
prayers that live
in my heart
The Psalms
Haiku from a new poem today at POEMS FROM PSALMS AND NATURE:
prayers that live
in my heart and
are renewed often
The Psalms
spring colors
poetry journals and books
on a brown tablecloth
their own beauty
birch trees and
blue sky
kitchen window
forsythia in bloom
and a daffodil in light
new leaves
on the birch tree
May study window
May afternoon
and I read in my study
light on the file cabinet
with cards and letters
before and since email
old poems as well
treasures to rediscover
and remember
perhaps this summer
POEMS FROM OOSTBURG, WISCONSIN
books to read
and reread
spring sunrise
reading poems
and writing too
the seasons
always new
reading poems
by Emily Dickinson
flowers I know too
reading poems by Emily
a new flower for me –
the gentian
gifts of beauty
and simplicity
flowers
gifts of beauty
